Issues with Universal Audio’s Console Application

If you are using a Nektar controller in Windows and you are also using an audio interface from Universal Audio, the MIDI settings in the Console application may interfere with the DAW integration for Nektar controllers.

Since only one application can access the MIDI ports for Nektar controllers (and most other MIDI devices), if you have a MIDI port selected in Console’s MIDI settings, that port cannot be used by other applications. This can prevent Panorama from communicating with DAW applications correctly.

Solution

Simply set the ‘Device’ on the MIDI page of Console’s Setup menu, to ‘None’ or to a device other than Impact or Panorama. See the image below:
