Impact LX88/LX88+: Changing settings for split and layer
Impact LX88/LX88+ feature Layer and Split zones, each sending on a unique MIDI channel.
Foot Switch, Pitch Bend Wheel, and Modulation Wheel can be turned on or off for each of the two zones.
Transpose buttons and Split/Layer settings
The Transpose buttons can take on a number of different functions. Normally when you press the Transpose buttons they will transpose the Global zone but you can transpose the Split and Layer zones by holding the [Split] or [Layer] buttons and pressing the Transpose buttons.
The Transpose buttons can also be used to change the Global Channel or change the Octave range, by pressing both Transpose buttons, then pressing Transpose Up to scroll through the different options. This provides a quick way to change the Octave range or the Channel associated with a Zone, by holding the [Split] or [Layer] buttons and pressing the Transpose buttons.
